I recently finished making my major release, the movie LorDDamage! is a short animated film in the world of eSports based on the game World of Warcraft. It’s solo, that’s why it took me so long, I worked on the project for one year. Epic battles, intense gameplay; nostalgia, drama.
History of creation: I was making one game video completely unrelated to Wow, and there was a process of stagnation in the work, so that the work would not stand idle, I began to make a wow movie as a side production, gradually the idea about my character was born, some ideas appeared, the warlock lives in the game in this cruel world where violence rules, he and Sylvanas find each other. I decided to start the introduction with an epic moment, then smooth things out with a gradual journey through the palace and a calm introduction to the character, while using anamorphic lenses for more immersion.
In this first episode I used an anamorphic lens, at first glance it is almost invisible but it gives a wider format.

Color correction: Particular attention in creating any game movie needs to be paid to color correction, playing with colors and mood is important, I experimented a lot, looking for something new, on top of the old. Take your time, think and write down all the scenes, I clearly knew which scenes I wanted to see in the first minutes, for greater immersion of the viewer.
Rendering frames and videos: It took me from 45 minutes to 30 hours to process some frames and episodes; another interesting fact is that for the final return of the entire video and decoding, according to my calculations, it would have taken two weeks of continuous operation of one PC, so I used several computers at once, which worked continuously for several days. If you are going to create a movie, prepare for sleepless nights.
Quite an interesting way to add various 3D texts and Info, in the form of three-dimensional holograms, this is not in any demo about WWII, and I have never seen it in KS.
