Unfortunately we can only guess. According to Whedon, the series will be interesting to both fans and people who have not watched “The Avengers.”. This is an independent project, existing separately from the Avengers franchise, but made in its style. This is Joss Whedon’s second time working on the series. He also directed the web series "The Musical Blog of Doctor Horrible". Judging by the ratings of the first episode, the series will not be limited to one season and we can safely say that Joss Whedon has once again directed something gorgeous and promising. If after watching the movie “The Avengers” the shawarma insert wasn’t enough for you and you still have questions about the future fate of the dilapidated city, its inhabitants, alien bodies and their technologies, then this series is for you.

While filming the film, Jaimie Alexander (Sif) was injured after slipping in the rain. Due to these complications, the release date had to be postponed from October to November. Filming began on 10 September 2012 and took place in locations including Bourne Wood (Surrey), Domadalur, Skógafoss, Fjaðrárglúfúr and Skájðar (Iceland), and from late October filming took place at Greenwich Hospital in London. Stan Lee will again appear in a cameo role.
